Lig (formerly SueThem) was awarded first place in the Start-up Weekend that took place in Israel in May 2012. Our idea is to revolutionize the way people get justice by creating a simple-to-use mobile app and online platform that will allow anyone to take the crucial first step towards filing a legal claim and share evidence straight from their smartphone or the web in several easy steps. Lig is a virtual law office that supports its lawyers’ back-office and billing needs. Lig offers a platform by which claimants and lawyers are connected through a simple intuitive application. The claimants present all their facts and relevant lawyers are selected by the system to help them pursue their claims. With Lig lawyers can stop looking for clients, stop paying for advertising and manage client e-mails and back-office accounting. Lig’s virtual law office helps attorneys handle every aspects of a claim.
